Five Friday Faves [Cycle + Sweat Edition]

We are so excited for the grand opening of CycleBar at The Lakes in Thousand Oaks — so naturally, we decided to theme this #FFF for all things CYCLE.

1. Cruising :: If a leisurely biking pace is more your style, check out this beautiful seaside ride in Ventura that is great for all riding levels.  Plus, there are plenty of microbreweries along the way for a refreshing pit-stop!  Also, PedeGo 101 in Westlake Village offers electric bikes that do the hard work for you 🙂

3. Triathlon :: We are always so inspired by this story from our reader Jessica Rodriguez — she completed a half Ironman triathlon after training with Transcend, a local women’s triathlon training team!  Read Part I and Part II of her journey, and maybe even consider joining the team yourself!

4. The Great Outdoors :: We live in pretty much the mecca of mountain biking [our husbands have gotten super into this, also] so why not take advantage of it?  Here are a few of our favorite mountain bike trails:
