4th of July Festivities + Fireworks {local events}

Can you believe tomorrow is the 4th of July already!?! It is time to celebrate our nation’s birth with food, beer, outdoor activities, and of course fireworks.

Want to know the best spots to get in on the patriotism tomorrow??  Here is a list of events happening in the Conejo Valley {and beyond}:

 TONIGHT: Moorpark’s July 3rd Fireworks Extravaganza at Arroyo Vista Community Park! $5/person [Children 4 and under FREE]

Concert in the Park [5pm-7pm; free!] Patriotic and Americana music by the Conejo Pops Orchestra [Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Avenue, Thousand Oaks]

Family Open Swim [12pm-4pm; free!] Thousand Oaks High School & California Lutheran University

The Beatles Tribute Concert [6-9pm on parking lot rooftop] + hot dog eating contest, Janss Marketplace

45th Annual 4th of July Parade [9:45am – noon] Music, inflatables, games, and more! Berniece Bennet Park

 

Calabasas

36th Annual Lakeside Fun Run [all day; free!] Pet Show and Summer Splash Party {more}

 

Simi Valley

Reagan Library [10am-3pm] Food, music, Presidential look-a-likes, face painting, and more!  Activities are free, but regular admission price applies for touring the museum

44th Annual Fourth of July Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza [Rancho Santa Susana Park, 2pm-9:45pm] Live bands, food vendors, and crafts

 

Ventura

4th of July Street Festival & 39th Annual Pushem-Pullem Parade [10am-5pm; along Main Street between Fir Street and Ventura Ave] {more}

52nd Annual 4th of July Parade [1pm; free!] State Street parade!

Fireworks Paddle [7:45pm, RSVP mandatory]- hosted by Channel Islands Outfitters you can head out and watch fireworks in a way you never have before…on a guided kayak tour! {more}

Conejo Recreation & Park District Fireworks Show [9pm; tune in to KCLU 88.3FM]  Places to watch:

  • The Oaks Mall Parking Lot [6pm-9:45pm; free!] DJs, live music, crafts starting at 6pm
  • Janss Marketplace Parking Lot [5pm-9:45pm; free!] Free music and family activities
  • Bethany Church on the Hill [5pm-9:45pm; free!] Free music, food booths, and family activities with an incredible view!

Los Robles Greens [5-9pm] {289 S. Moorpark Rd} – live music, full bar, and food booths {more} bring lawn chairs!

 

Westlake Village

*NEW* Westlake Village Golf Course!  [9pm] Places to watch:
