Best of … Happy Hour spots!

Did you say happy hour??

Why yes… YES we did.

Do you often find yourself wondering where to go for happy hour on a weekly basis? So do we. For some reason, no matter how long we’ve lived here, deciding on where to go for happy hour is always a difficult decision. #firstworldproblems

Luckily for you, we’ve done our best to compile our favorite local happy hour spots by neighborhood, as well as the favorites you all shared with us on Facebook and Instagram (thank you!).

Our current Happy Hour faves in the Conejo Valley area:

Who: Blue Table Wine Bar 

When: Monday-Friday, 2-6pm

Where: Whizin Center, Agoura Hills

Why: Casual, quiet & quaint. For a classy date night or a girls night out head here for discounted bottles & glasses of wine (plus they have amazing cheese and charcuterie plates!)


Who: Plata Taqueria 

When: Daily, 3-6pm

Where: Whizin Center, Agoura Hills

Why: One of our fave spots for margaritas. Plus, amazing guac, food, beer & wine specials!


Who: The Gallery 

When: Monday – Friday, 3:30 – 6:30pm

Where: The Shoppes at Westlake

Why: It may have to do with the hand-crafted cocktails and oysters. Check out our blog post here!


Who: Finney’s Craft House 

When: Monday – Friday, 3-6pm

Where: Westlake Plaza

Why: Outdoor patio seating, big screens for the sport fans, craft beer & delicious food specials (like the buffalo cauliflower!).


Who: Lure Fishhouse 

When: Monday – Friday, 3-6pm; Sunday 11:30-6pm

Where: Westlake Village & Ventura

Why: Oysters (grilled & fresh), amazing clam chowder & drink specials!


Who: Zin Bistro 

When: Everyday, 4-7pm

Where: Westlake Village

Why: We love this place for its beautiful location on Westlake Lake and the fact that they have HH everyday. I mean…. 🙂


Who: The Grill on the Alley

When: Everyday, 3 – 7pm

Where: Westlake Promenade

Why: Again, outdoor seating (#ithinkwehaveathingforpatios), hand-crafted cocktails and a gourmet happy hour menu! Plus, EVERYDAY. **PS, The Westlake Promenade has so many good happy hour options! We also love Public School 805, Farfalla, Paul Martin’s and Loteria.


Who: The Lookout, The Bar The Tasting Room

When: Sunday – Thursday, 4 – 6pm and Friday 4-7pm at The Tasting Room

Where: Four Seasons Westlake Village

Why: We love the outdoor seating at The Lookout & Tasting Room, along with the local wines featured! Plus, The Bar offers shared plates, draft beer & wine specials!


Our current Happy Hour faves in the Ventura area:

Who: RELM Wine & Beer Bistro

When: Tuesday – Friday, 4-7pm

Where: Camarillo

Why: Brand new local spot with a great outdoor patio, live music on Friday & Saturday nights & an adorable, super comfortable interior! $7 red & white wines, $1.50 off pints of craft beer, discounted menu items.


Who: Safire

When: Monday – Saturday 4-7pm & all day Sunday (!!!)

Where: Camarillo

Why: Great deals on cocktails, beer & wine as well as an extensive happy hour menu. **Bonus**, on Tuesday evenings you can head over to the Roxy theater after for $6 movie night for the perfect date night {thanks for the tip LL805er, Karina!}.


Who: RUMFISH & Vino

When: Everyday, 3-6pm 

Where: Ventura

Why: Ventura’s newest hot spot with so much to offer – great food & drinks on their HH menu, PLUS a super cute patio with a fire place (also, the perfect date spot!:)


Who: Saloon BBQ

When: Monday 3pm-close, Tuesday-Friday 3-6:30pm

Where: Ventura

Why: Fun old school saloon feel with unique cocktails  & a great vibe — plus, you drink beer out of a boot mug!


Who: VenTiki Lounge

When: Monday-Friday 4-6pm & all day Tuesday

Where: Ventura

Why: The strongest Mai Tai’s ever (and they are SO good- not too sweet, but just right!). Plus, they have the coolest tiki vibe — you feel like you’re in the Caribbean.  PS we also heard from a little bird that they are looking to expand their space this year for even more lounging!


Who: Social Tap

When: Monday 3pm-close, Tuesday-Friday 3-6:30pm

Where: Ventura

Why: Great tacos, beer and large patio within walking distance to the beach! What’s not to love?


Who: Aloha Steakhouse

When: Everyday 3-6pm 

Where: Ventura Pier

Why: Great place to go on a nice day and/or take out-of-towners to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the ocean view!


Who: BarrelHouse 101

When: All day Monday HH, Twobuck beer specials on Tuesdays, Late Night HH 10pm- midnight on Friday and Saturdays

Where: Ventura

Why: HUGE selection of rotating great craft beer, a must try for the beer and burger fan!

Our current Happy Hour faves in the Santa Barbara area:


Who: The Good Bar & The Outpost at The Goodland Hotel

When: Monday  -Friday 4-7pm

Where: Goleta

Why: Coolest vibe around with the most amazing dishes & cocktails. Discounted small bites & cocktails like their 5 x $5 menu, $1 oysters and buckets of bottle cocktails. We LOVE everything about this place. Check out our blog post here on why you need to visit ASAP.


Who: The Good Lion

When: Everyday, 4-7pm

Where: Santa Barbara

Why: We’re all about good vibes and great cocktails. This place is a MUST visit in SB.


Who: Seven Bar and Kitchen

When: Monday-Thursday 5-7pm; Friday 4-7pm; Saturday & Sunday 11-3pm

Where: Santa Barbara

Why: Cozy atmosphere with a great weekend happy hour! #winning


Who: Sama Sama Kitchen

When: Monday-Friday, 5-7pm

Where: Santa Barbara

Why: Great Indonesian inspired food and cocktail menu and a super cute space!


Who: Milk and Honey

When: Monday-Saturday, 5-7pm

Where: Santa Barbara

Why: The BEST mojitos! Unique menu and great drink specials.

    These are great, though I would have to add Settebello in Oxnard. It’s a little hidden gem that you wouldn’t really think much about since it’s right next to the theater at the Collection, but they have amazing cocktails and great happy hour!
