The HOPE4Kids Festival and Run is a community event that benefits the foster youth of Ventura County. This 5K, 10K, and kids one mile “fun run” event takes place on Saturday, April 28th from 8am to 2pm in Lake Sherwood [2300 Norfield Drive, Thousand Oaks]. Thank goodness for Jessica Needham, entrepreneur and girl boss of homeMADE Ventura! She is totally rocking this DIY craft that we now love, and taking the 805 by storm with her own macrame workshops! She invited us to stop by and give it a try this month… and now, we’re hooked. Our workshop was in the beautiful barn at Camarillo Ranch, and provided the prime environment for a beautiful summer Sunday.
