This Week’s Local Edition {Eat.Shop.Play.Explore}

It’s Friday!! Here’s the low-down on what we’re loving and looking forward to this weekend!

EAT.

We are loving everything about the newest health food spot in Agoura Hills, The Rabbit Hole Cafe. First of all, it’s ADORABLE. I mean, look at their menu! We first heard about this new hub via Conejo Deals, which sold out super quick! Everything about it is to die for, and they stand for everything we believe in — community, healthy food, local produce, and character:)

SHOP.

This sign. Really, any wooden sign with a cute saying on it is a favorite of mine {have you seen photos from my wedding? There were a LOT of wood signs ;)} This one in particular is from the Agoura Antique Mart. I love strolling through the shops there — they have so many unique and awesome items! I definitely recommend checking it out one of these days- it’s also conveniently located by a couple of our favorite spots (TIFA and Blue Table) in Whizin Market Square.

PLAY.

This weekend we are planning on enjoying the beautiful spring weather and playing in Malibu — brunch, shops, beach and more! This weather reminds me of summer, which reminds me of wake boarding trips and gets me all kinds of giddy inside 🙂

Wakeboarding is my favorite activity

EXPLORE.

The views from our bike ride last weekend. WOW. It was such a beautiful day. You could see downtown, past Playa Vista and all the way up near Zuma (maybe even further!). Our friends and I wanted to try something new so we googled biking with views and came across La Tuna Canyon off the PCH.  Warning: this is not meant for a bike ride (or at least not meant at our level;). Unfortunately, we realized this once we were trekking uphill and  a couple groups of hikers passed us by as they were heading back down- they gave us funny looks but I guess we looked pretty hard-core? On that note, I would definitely recommend La Tuna Canyon if you’re looking for a good hike with views! It was amazing — quiet and easy to get to.
