This Week’s Edition {eat. shop. play. explore.}

Ready for a jam-packed weekend full of festivals and FUN??

{eat & drink.}

The Santa Barbara Harbor and Seafood Festival is going down this weekend on Saturday, Oct 11, from 10am-5pm.  Not only is admission free, but there will also be free boat rides and tours of the tall ships! [is the little 6-year-old inside of you excited?!] The more ‘refined’ side of you will enjoy the cooking demonstrations while feasting on lobster, albacore, crab, prawns, and all things from the sea.

The Moorpark Beer Festival is tomorrow (Saturday, 10/11) from 4-8pm at Moorpark College. Come by for some fantastic beer – not only are the featuring local beer, but also breweries anywhere from San Diego up to the Bay Area. Plus, there will of course be live music & entertainment as well as delicious food from local restaurants and gourmet food trucks- something for everyone!

We had a blast at the Grand Opening of All Tressed Up last night!  Got our hair curled and braided, and got to scope out the ADORABLE storefront.  They have so much to offer — a full face of makeup or a wash + blow dry will run you only $35!  Each station has its own iPad for your convenience, and the stylists are knowledgable, talented, and fun!  We can’t wait to show you more pictures on our full blog post 🙂  For now, head over and check it out for yourself, conveniently located in the Shoppes at Westlake Village.

Don’t miss Thousand Oaks’ 3rd Annual Bark in the Park this Saturday, October 11, from 11am-3pm at Conejo Creek Park!  Check out (or enter your dog in) the hilarious competitions, including dog diving, dress-up, races, fetching, and sniffing contests!

Most activities are free, so no excuses.  Don’t have a dog?  Adopt one at the event, and give a dog a forever home!

Don’t forget about all things Reyes Adobe Days happening this weekend!  Take a tour of the Reyes Adobe, spend time browsing vendors and trying food at A Day in the Park, and “sip” on over to The Farmhouse, a beer and wine garden hosted by Malibu Wines and Ladyface Ale!
