Sorry, not sorry about this amazing weather — which lends itself rather nicely to open air markets!  Spend your weekend browsing vendors as you stroll through these street fairs and hobnob with the locals.

Happy 50th birthday, City of Thousand Oaks {you don’t look a day over 30}!

This weekend is the Thousand Oaks 50th Anniversary Parade!! It will take place Saturday morning from 9am-noon on Thousand Oaks Blvd.  The parade will replicate what life was like in Conejo Valley 50 years ago when Thousand Oaks was first founded.  Park a chair along Thousand Oaks Blvd (between Erbes & Deusenberg) and watch the celebratory parade pass by.

After the parade, there will be events, activities and a LIVE concert at The Lakes in T.O. to commemorate Thousand Oaks 50th Anniversary. You can even participate in breaking a world record by helping construct the largest Lego chain! I mean, this is history in the making, people. And you’re going to want to be a part of it, gosh darn it. For more info and details on the parade route and events, check out their website here.

The famous Underwood Farms Fall Harvest Festival quicks off this weekend runs until October 31st!!  Festival hours are everyday from 9am-6pm. There are so many different events happening, be sure to check their website for more details here.   There is fun to be had for the whole family.  We love Underwood Farms for their amazing produce, but we also love to pick our pumpkins here!

Ladyface Alehouse & Brasserie Open House will take place this Saturday 9/27 from 6-9pm.  If you haven’t explored the brewery at Ladyface yet, then this is your chance! Ladyface is opening their brewery doors to the public and will be offering a free guided tour at 6:30pm so you can get the low down on their beer making process while you enjoy one of their delicious brews.  Get all your burning questions and answered and stay after and chat and perhaps enjoy a yummy dinner on their patio.  Please RSVP to the event and check out their website for more details!

Combine your love of nature and “the industry” with a guided Set to Screen tour of Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills on Sunday!  You’ll be walking in the same dusty path as many TV stars from shows like M*A*S*H, and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (… oh Sully… so dreamy…)!  If you haven’t been to Paramount Ranch yet, this is a must — plus, it’s totally Instagram-worthy.
