Five Friday Faves {This Week’s Edition}

So we took a little spring break hiatus and we all went on vacation! But we’re back in time for this week’s edition of our Five Friday Faves.

1. Our first fave this week has to be our own travels– Hayley is still traveling around South Africa with her husband Luke and if you haven’t been following along her personal instagram @heyyyhay you should (we’re supes jealous).

Nicole went on her babymoon to Maui (again jealous!) with her hubby Brett and had a great time soaking up the sun {and virgin Mai Tai’s}.

And I went on a quick last snowboarding trip of the season to Big Sky, Montana. Β We got lucky and it dumped snow the first couple of days, which Reese loved (I know it doesn’t look it from the photo, but I promise she did;))!

2. We went to lunch at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks recently and afterwards headed to the playground with Reese. Β We noticed they had blankets as well as books and magazines out for people to enjoy (and corn hole!) so of course we then had to grab a smoothie from SunLife Organics and enjoy a little picnic. Β I don’t know if they do this every day, but I dig it πŸ˜‰

3. Today is priority registration day for summer camps and classes through the Conejo Recreation and Park District. Β I’ve already been looking for a couple of classes to do with Reese. Β There are so many options for little ones and even adults so be sure to check them out!

4. This Saturday April 23rd is the Hope4Kids Festival and Run. Β You can still register for this event today at Roadrunner Sports from 3-7pm or tomorrow morning before each race. Β This is a great way to not only have some fun burning calories (trust us- local races are fun!), but it also supports a great cause. 5. In case you haven’t heard, SoulCycle Westlake is now open! They officially opened this past Wednesday and are having a little opening celebration this Saturday April 23rd. Β They are located in the Westlake Plaza and there will be a DJ, photo booth, complimentary juices, and of courses cycle classes! Β We are really excited they are in the 805 and if you haven’t tried a class yet, you must, and trust us you will be hooked!

We hope you have a great weekend and don’t forget to let us know what you are up to by tagging us on instagram, facebook, or twitter @LocalLove805! Happy Fri-Yay!
