Sweat It Out and Save Some Dough {free workouts}

Happy Work it Wednesday! When we began LocalLove805, we promised to share about the plethora of local resources in our community, as well as how to live an active lifestyle while not breaking your budget. If you’re like us at all, you love free things — especially when it’s good for your overall health and well being!

Did you know that you can go to Lululemon every week and not spend a dime?  No, you’re not dreaming — it’s true!  Check out these absolutely free fitness events — and if you’re easily tempted, just leave your wallet at home.

::: ::: :::

Lululemon {Westlake Promenade}:

  • Yoga: Weekly yoga class featuring instructors from various studios. Meet at the store on Sunday mornings at 9:30am

Lululemon {Calabasas Commons}:

  • Yoga: Weekly yoga class for all-levels. Meet at the store on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am!
  • Run Club: Monday evenings at 6:00pm, meet in front of the store to run with your fellow neighbors.

Lululemon {Santa Barbara}:

  • Sunday Community Yoga: Weekly yoga class of varying styles for all-levels. Meet at the store on Sunday mornings at 10am [mats are provided if needed!]

In addition to Yoga & Run Clubs, all of the above Lululemon Athletica locations offer special monthly events, so make sure to check out their Community Events Calendars as well as like/follow their Facebook pages!  Many of their events offer free drinks, which is 100{fd7f0a6624fbd2224f3c60e3404acbd2207eb416c38268e7e97265ebe361b912} cool with us.  Plus, who doesn’t need a few more friends? (:: quietly raising hand ::)

Lululemon Santa Barbara

Lululemon Thousand Oaks

Lululemon Calabasas

Our favorite aspect of these community events is that they often feature giveaways from local purveyors.  In fact, just last week, Lululemon Calabasas hosted Wine Down Wednesday Yoga, which offered free samplings of wine and cheese from Pedaler’s Fork — I know, right?!

Have you been to any of these events??  We’d love to hear about your experience! Please let us know in the comments below and make sure to tag us at @locallove805 and @lululemon with the hashtag #LL805!

Now is the time to sweat it out and save some cash — who’s with me?!
