Our Weekly Photo Roundup {local lifestyle}

Hope you all had a great weekend! Can’t believe it’s already over … here’s a look at what we were up to this weekend.

First I stopped by Erewhon for a fresh pressed juice (it was so hot on Friday!) before stopping by our property to see the newest addition, a Port-a-Potty and tractor! We are going to start grading this week! I canNOT wait to officially break ground and begin our home building process — it’s going to be quite the adventure and I will make sure to update you along the way 🙂

Finally, as we mentioned [and I’m sure you saw on our Instagram and Twitter accounts], we ran in the Great Race of Agoura this weekend, which was a blast.

Nicole, her husband Brett, and I ran the 10k. It was so beautiful. We especially loved all the horses and beautiful ranch homes in Old Agoura, as well as all the trees and open trails!

We were impressed by all the parents running with a stroller and kid(s) in tow. Hats off to you! Such a fun way to get OUTside and work it out with your kids (or baby 🙂 ).

The post race party was quite the treat — literally. Remember being a kid trick-or-treating? Yeah, well that was us except we were tick-or-treating for healthy snacks, which was pretty exciting. There were so many vendors with free drink/snack options, like fresh produce from Sprouts, Dole pineapple juice and fruit Squish’ems, KIND granola bars, delicious oatmeal pancakes, Great Harvest Bread, sliders from Cronies, Starbucks coffee… the list goes on. Let’s just say we left extremely full and satisfied — and may be stocked up on snacks for the week 😉free pancakes - Great Race of Agoura - post race party - LocalLove805

On Sunday, Nicole got pretty ambitious and re-vamped her garden with a ton of veggies and herbs — all from Armstrong Garden Center in Thousand Oaks, which offers some pretty amazing classes [for FREE] so you, too, can learn how to have a green thumb.

If you didn’t get to join in the fun this year, make sure to check back next year (We’ll make sure to remind you too 🙂 )! You don’t want to miss it.

Have a happy Monday! #photoroundup #greatraceLA #localfitness #locallifestyle #LL805
