Why Public School 805 is One of The Best Happy Hours Around

I don’t know why we haven’t written about Public School 805 yet because it is definitely one of our go-to restaurants for great happy hour, delicious food and amazing craft beers and cocktails.  Public School 805 considers itself to be an education in food and beer, which I love because it is totally true for me.  I have tried new dishes, desserts and beers that I wouldn’t necessarily have picked on my own, and I have never been disappointed.

If it’s your first time trying Public School 805, I definitely recommend going there for happy hour. First off, they call it Recess which is awesome because we all know recess was your favorite part of day during elementary school — and now, years later, happy hour is what we look forward to!

Another reason why you must go for happy hour is because of their PB&J sliders… that’s right. PB&J sliders! Sounds weird right? That’s what my husband and I thought when we first went there, but the waiter told us we absolutely had to try them.  I was really on the fence, but when he said he would bring us something else if we didn’t like them, I figured, why not?!  They are AMAZING! So much so, that when I was pregnant they were one of my cravings.

{side note: if you want to try these delicious sliders, make sure you visit during happy hour — they aren’t available on their regular menu, and when I tried to order them during un-happy hour, it did not go well}.

Every single thing I have tried on their menu, I have loved.  And of course, I can’t forget to mention their awesome selection of craft beers and cocktails.  There’s just nothing not to like at Public School 805.
