Shoppes at Westlake Village {opening July 2014}

{via}

We are beyond excited for the new Target to open up in Westlake Village… we miiight be starting to act like that lady on their Black Friday commercials:

target3Yeah.  Like that.

There’s more than just a Tar-jhaaayy at  The Shoppes at Westlake Village (<< see that fancy spelling of “Shoppes?” That’s how you know it’s gonna be good).

Here’s a quick highlight of our favorite dining experiences coming soon to this shopping center, so you can start counting down the days until its Grand Opening on July 27!  Eeeeeeek!!

  • Olio E Limone Ristorante :: << means “oil and lemon,” which, as far as I’m concerned, is off to a remarkable start.  A Santa Barbara transplant, this husband-wife team has been serving up “simply sophisticated” Italian cuisine with a fine-dining atmosphere.  Not sure you want to drop big bills, but want a taste of this goodness?  Head over to…
  • Olio Pizzeria :: Right next door to its fine-dining counterpart, Olio Pizzeria is a pizza bar/wine bar that offers a casual dining experience with authentic Italian charm.  Pizza, antipasti, and bruschetta offerings are sure to keep me coming back for another visit!
  • In-N-Out :: I shouldn’t even have to explain this.  I’ll be the one in line ordering a #2 mustard-grilled with extra pickles, extra tomatoes, whole grilled onions, and a black + white milkshake.  Judge me.
  • Hook Burger :: From the owners of The Habit, Hook Burger touts their use of local ingredients, high-quality food, hormone-free meat (even Ahi tuna!), and affordable prices — sounds pretty great to us!  Their breads are baked fresh locally at WildFlour Bakery in Agoura Hills, and they are committed to giving back to charities and reducing their carbon footprint.
  • Greens Up! :: When I first heard that a Greens Up! was coming to my area, I screamed. At work. (not my finest moment) Hayley and I lived 2 blocks away from this place in Santa Monica, and it’s safe to say that this place is addicting.  The Jarvis salad (romaine, roasted turkey, croutons, tomato, smoked bacon, swiss cheese, bleu cheese, and a roasted garlic dressing) is my absolute fave, and is large enough for my husband and I to share for a meal – seriously.
  • Los Agaves :: A family-owned restaurant originating in Santa Barbara, this Mexican cuisine fast-casual joint promises the best fish tacos in town.  Personally, I am dying to try the Chile Relleno Burrito and their famous Ceviche!
  • Which Wich? :: This fast-casual sandwich stop offers superior sandwiches that are fully customizable and creatively delicious.  Get your sandwich on wheat, white, in a bowl, or wrapped in lettuce!  I can’t wait to try the Elvis Wich (peanut butter, banana, bacon, + honey) and the Thank You Turkey (turkey, stuffing, + cranberry sauce).
  • Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. :: Hailing from Santa Barbara with a laid-back + fun atmosphere, it’s no wonder this place is a favorite.  And, all of their beers are $5 – you just can’t beat that! Customers rave about the Hoppy Poppy IPA, Wrangler Wheat, and the Stagecoach Stout.  I have a feeling this place is going to be a new local favorite!

    I wondered when the Which Wich sandwich shop would be open, and where the location would be. I lived near the one in Enciitas, and it is terrific! ML

    Just got done writing a post about how thankful I would have been if they had a Home Depot or a Lowes. Such a drag going to Simi Valley for a few supplies.
