Studio Barre Grand Opening {Newbury Park}

We were so grateful that the owner of the newest StudioBarre location, Cindi Garabedian, invited us to their Grand Opening on Friday!

You guys — this place is pretty much adorbs.

The boutique has SO many cute workout outfits, headbands, accessories, water bottles… especially this gem that I pretty much HAVE to have.

I mean… am I right?!

The Grand opening was a blast — free workout demos every 15 minutes, raffles, food + margaritas (in which my husband was obviously partaking!), and we got a chance to scope out the gorgeous studio and facilities.  Nice job, StudioBarre NP Staff!

[Yes, my preferred way to workout would be at a ballet barre, with a margarita in hand.  Next to a table of cupcakes.  If that’s wrong, I don’t wanna be right.]

Even though it was only a quick demo, I’ll have to say — these moves were pretty unique compared to the many barre classes I’ve taken (and believe me when I say, MANY).  This move, as demonstrated by the StudioBarre teachers (lower left) was a real burner to those inner thighs and supporting leg quadricep.  I can’t wait to take more classes to try out the rest of their signature exercises.

Oh, and my favorite part: Friday nights are Men + Margaritas — bring your man to class (their class is FREE), and everyone enjoys margaritas immediately after.  If he refuses to come, just tell him he probably couldn’t handle the workout anyways. Believe me — he’ll be there.

Don’t be discouraged if you haven’t taken a barre class before!  We have some great tips here on a different post for you to check out.  Plus, if this little one can do it without any shame, you can, too.

Like I always say: fake it ’til you make it.

We will see you in the studio!  Swing by for your first class (hint: it’s FREE!) and get ready to tuck, lift, and tone!
