How To Burn Calories and Give Back To Your Community

…talk about killing two birds with one stone!

The HOPE4Kids Festival and Run is a community event that benefits the foster youth of Ventura County.  This 5K, 10K, and kids one mile “fun run” event takes place on Saturday, April 28th from 8am to 2pm in Lake Sherwood [2300 Norfield Drive, Thousand Oaks].  The festival and run is a community effort sponsored by Raising Hope Inc., Ventura County Children and Family Services, Living Oaks Community Church, and several other community partners.

Five Friday Faves [This Week’s Edition]

Oh hey, Friday!  Here’s what we’re crushing on this week…

1. Brown & Co Designs :: Tanisha and I had such an amazing time at the brush lettering workshop this week!  We learned so much, and the beer definitely helped us let our guard down while we practiced a new skill 😉  Plus, there were cupcakes and lots of fun, new people to meet — best night ever?  We think YES.
