My husband and I were lucky enough to sneak away, sans kids, for a little day date and we wanted to …

Outdoor Movies [plus tips + tricks]

I don’t know what it is about the thrill of watching a flick in the great outdoors — something about it is so strange, but so fun at the same time.

Summer seems to be the perfect opportunity to watch a movie in a park, and although we’ve told you about big-time companies like Eat See Hear or Street Food Cinema that put on these events, there are quite a few local productions, as well.  Catch them before summer is over!

[hint: movies typically …

1. The Closet {Westlake Promenade}

Last night we attended the grand opening of Nina and Sharon Segal’s newest branch of The Closet, a cray-cray adorrrrbs boutique that just opened in The Westlake Promenade.

Then, we decided that we needed to throw away everything in our closet and let them takeover our wardrobe. {kidding, kinda} 😉

A day date at the Ronald Reagan Library {local resources}

The holidays were a bit busy with all the family and festivities going on (which I loved, don’t get me wrong!), but once things were winding down I wanted to have a fun day date for Luke and I. I checked admission (only $16 for adults!) and made sure they had food & beverages (duh) – there’s a cafe and a pub with beer! Plus, it’s located in Conejo Valley area, the parking is free …
