Too Fresh to Forget :: A Farm-to-Table Experience with Ocean Views

I recently went to Malibu Farm again {thanks to this gorgeous summer-like weather we are having right now!} and fell in love again– and so did Reese!  I mean the food, the ocean views, the adorable decor, and now they have expanded and added a full restaurant and bar as well as as Espresso Bar at the beginning of the pier.

GIRASOL.

Girasol Restaurant 3Girasol Restaurant 3

Absolutely worth the drive to Studio City, Girasol is a farm-to-table concept that is focused on Chef CJ Jacobsen’s interpretation of California cuisine through a refined, hyper-local and produce-driven menu.  Plus, he was on Top Chef which is pretty amazing in it of itself!

We took one for the team and tried out pretty much everything on their seasonal menu. …

Finch & Fork + Rooftop Wine Tasting at The Canary Hotel {Santa Barbara}

My mom and I spent the day in Santa Barbara together and were looking for a good breakfast spot. Usually, we stop at Esau’s for authentic huevos rancheros and breakfast burritos, but this time we were looking for something new and came across Finch & Fork at The Canary Hotel.
