The Ultimate Guide to Visiting Sequioa National Park {local getaway}

Luke and I just spent a recent weekend at Sequioa National Park for our 4 year anniversary… and it was awesome. If you haven’t been yet, or it’s just been awhile, I definitely recommend it. Hello, Hidden Gem: Casa Dumetz Wines {Los Alamos}

As a local 805-er, we find ourselves cruising up the PCH/101 quite often. I mean, it is the best road trip route, right? And, it’s right at our fingertips. My family has some favorite pit stops along the way — to name a few, Anderson’s Pea Soup in Buellton, Solvang for some ableskivers, and McLintocks Saloon for dinner in Shell Beach on the way back. Five Friday Faves {This Week’s Edition}

1. Every Fall, without fail, I get an intense urge to go to Paris.  Yup — just sell my worldly possessions, buy a one-way ticket, and live in the City of Light.

Since I don’t plan on doing that (yet), I should probably just head to Chocolatine French Café in Thousand Oaks for a crêpe and café au lait, take a chill pill, and pretend I’m sitting at a sidewalk cafe.
