The Ultimate Workout Trio at SPN Pilates {3 ways to work your buns}

I, for one, am all about getting more for my money — high intensity, full body workouts. I like to sweat when I work out and I love being sore from a good workout (is that weird??). It’s my way of knowing that I’m making a difference.

We’ve mentioned SPN Pilates before – they’re located in the shopping center right off the 101 at Lost Hills.

They offer pilates reformer, spin and yoga. #Boom

Why we love SPN Pilates: Friendly, motivating staff and members, lockers for your goods, conveniently located next to organic market Erewhon Market, and a truly effective workout.SPN cycle class - LocalLove805SPN Pilates Cycle Bikes - LocalLove805My first few pilates and spin classes were intimidating, but I can ensure you that the instructors at SPN are super friendly and helpful (And yes, I’ve been to studios with the opposite).  When I came to SPN for my first pilates class, the instructor made sure to give me quick walk-through on the machine after welcoming me to the studio.

I also appreciate it that the SPN instructors provide tips on technique and assist you with your form throughout the workout (in an encouraging way of course:)!

I debated giving up when my muscles were shaking uncontrollably in my 55 minute pilates reformer class, but the combination of the music, the instructor’s guidance & the women of all ages around me simply killin’ it, I just couldn’t let myself.

And that’s the very reason why I love fitness classes. The motivation and energy is amazing- and not something you can get at your average gym or when you’re running on the daily solo in your neighborhood. Even more, the feeling when you’re done with the class makes it so worth it. Especially when you take the morning classes- what better way to start your day!

BONUS: SPN offers free demo classes for first timers! [Check out their website]SPN-Pilates-Front - LocalLove805SPN-Pilates-Calabasas LocalLove805
