This Week’s Edition {eat. shop. play. explore.}

You guys have got to head to Ladyface Alehouse & Brasserie in Agoura Hills — they have their new fall menu out! We love when restaurants change up their menus according to the season to feature fresh local ingredients.  We also love just about everything at Ladyface, including their amazing beer, beautiful patio, local wine selection, and their events, like live music and Ladies at Ladyface.

I was just browsing their fall menu and already have a long list of things I must try: the stuffed crepe with escarole, brandy-soaked currants, burrata and roasted acorn squash puree (O.M.G. yumm!), the roasted and pickled beet salad with toasted pistachios, goat cheese fondue and arugula (I want that!) and the salmon with creamed leeks, potato croquettes seasoned with chili oil.  [those are just a few of the dishes I want to try!]

So be sure to head over to Ladyface and order some delicious food along with one of their amazing beers (our favorite is the Ladyface Trois Filles Tripel — ironic because it means “3 girls in French!”). If you’re lucky enough to have room left over, try one of their desserts too — you won’t be sorry, we promise.

Oh and I almost forgot to mention their new fall cocktails! Ladyface is featuring four new fall cocktails- The Gilded Lily, Orxata de Otono (or Autumn Horchata), Ale Mary and Thai One On.  So again- get there ASAP!

Tonight from 5-8pm Hoot N’ Anny Home will be having small bites, live music and holidays spirits (sounds like our kind of shopping!).  Saturday from 10am-5pm they will be serving desserts as well as having sales in store.  They will also be spreading some holiday cheer on Sunday from 11am-4pm.  So be sure to stop by this weekend!
