Welcoming Vintage Grocers to the Neighborhood! {Westlake Village}

Are you ready to see your new favorite grocery store/wine shop/juice bar/coffee stop/bakery/etc.?! Here it is… Vintage Grocers!

The grand opening event kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Paige Laurie, owner of Vintage Grocers, Eric Fuchser, Market Director of Vintage Grocers, and Rick Lemmo, SVP of Development-Community Relations at Caruso Affiliated.

Live music and food samples from some of Vintage Grocers’ most popular vendors were aplenty, and the huuuuuge line of eager shoppers showed Vintage Grocers an incredibly warm welcome to the Conejo Valley.

We chatted with Eric Fuscher for a bit, and it was obvious to see his joy and passion for this store as he answered our questions.  We asked him to tell us what he felt was the “shining star” of the store, and he immediately began boasting about the incredible food offerings in the fresh food section — a burrito bar, pizza station, hot and cold grab-and-go items, a killer salad bar and soup bar, a coffee + bakery station — all sourced from local vendors and farms while maintaining realistic prices (we’re looking at you, Whole Paycheck).

This store marks the second location for Vintage Grocers, following the popular flagship store at Trancas Country Market in Malibu. The new Westlake location is double the size and offers an even wider range of products from the finest meats, produce, seafood, fruits, vegetables and more – all sourced from Southern California’s leading food establishments and local artisans.

There are so many Grand Opening events still going on this week — show up tonight (Wednesday) for a Farmer’s Market event to meet the local artisans and sample some food!

And helloooooo, free wine tasting this week?! Yeah. You heard me. Come to the Wine Room located within the store, Monday – Wednesday and Friday – Saturday, 5-7pm.
