Looking to remodel your home, like our own blogger Tanisha?  You’re going to want to be at the Conejo Valley Home Remodeling Show this weekend!  Food trucks, giveaways, vendors for miles, all clamoring for your business.  Get ready to wheel and deal, ladies and gents!

The event starts on Saturday at 10am, and goes until 6pm, but don’t miss the food truck event, which lasts from 11am-4pm.  On Sunday, it’s 10am-5pm.

Print this out for a free entry ticket! [psst… the ticket is also good for $1 off at a food truck!].

Even if you don’t have school-aged kids, you can still enjoy the Back to School Carnival benefiting The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools, a non-profit that exists “to narrow the widening gap between what the State provides and the funds we need to maintain the excellence of our schools.”  Cool cause, huh?

The carnival starts TONIGHT, and runs from 5-11pm.  The fun keeps going on Saturday from 12pm-11pm, and Sunday       12pm-10pm, so you’ve got tons of time to check it out!

For information and tickets, head over here!  Don’t miss out!

This weekend is also the Aloha Beach Festival in Ventura. This is going to be a fun filled weekend full of music, Aloha dancers, a frisbee freestyle and K9 frisbee contest (sounds awesome to us!), and surf and paddleboard contests.  There will also be food vendors and a beer garden.  Did we mention that this event is free?!?!

So head on over to Promenade Park/Surfer’s Point in Ventura this Saturday from 9am-8pm and Sunday from 9am-5pm. Visit their site here for more info!

If you have yet to visit Enegren Brewing in Moorpark, then this weekend is the perfect time to go and explore their new brewery! In case you haven’t heard, they are expanding their existing brewery to better accommodate all of you (and so they can continue to brew even more of their amazing beer!). Stop by this Sunday 9/14 for two tours of the new brewery– one at 12:30pm and one at 2:00pm. Make sure to also sign up for their monthly newsletter for upcoming specials and events!
