This Week’s Edition {eat. shop. play. explore}

It’s Friday {the 13th… eeek!}.  It’s almost the weekend.   It’s time for this week’s edition. And it’s almost Valentine’s Day!

So whether you are going out with your significant other, a friend (for Gal-entine’s Day!) or your family, we have got you covered with lots of V-Day fun!  We know not everyone is a huge fan of V-Day, but it is a great time to share with others what you love about them.  It doesn’t have to be all lovey dovey, chocolates and red roses, you know — just spending time with the ones you love! Now that is something we all can get down with ;).

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and if you need something for your loved one, mom, best friend or coworker (or anyone really!) just head on over to Sprinkles at the Westlake Village Promenade and buy them a delicious cupcake, mini cupcakes, ice cream or cookie! I just went there for the first time and of course couldn’t settle on just one cupcake so I had to get two.  And they were both ah-mazing.  I definitely recommend the banana dark chocolate and the dark chocolate marshmellow.  Oh.em.gee so good.  And then my husband got the fudge brownie sunday with banana ice cream which was equally as amazing.  So head over there now, grab some deliciousness for that special someone and you will be their favorite, I promise.

Looking for an excuse to head over to the Ronald Reagan Library, because you saw how awesome it was in this post?  Thought so.  Welp, turns out it’s President’s Day on Monday, so I think you’ve got a reason.

Go mingle with our Founding Fathers during the 23rd Annual President’s Day Celebration at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum on February 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be crafts, musical entertainment, storytelling, and presidential and first lady look-a likes (I mean… that sounds pretty instagram-worthy, if you ask me). Hot dogs, pie and other all-American food will be available for purchase.

Oh, and President’s Day activities are free to the public {regular Museum admission rates apply to view the Ronald Reagan Presidential Museum, the Amazing Automobiles: The Ultimate Car Exhibit, and the spectacular Air Force One Pavilion}!
